Electric Universe 2015: Paths of Discovery

https://www.thunderbolts.info/wp/2015/01/31/eu2015-home-page/

Surely there is no single, secret pathway to theory-altering discovery. But it should go without saying that innovation, not common beliefs, has driven the most critical advances in the sciences.

The great discoveries did not arrive by accident. From the Copernican revolution to the discovery of “impossible” electric currents in space, the innovators came to recognize the oppressive potential of argument by consensus.

The Electric Universe community emphasizes open and interdisciplinary science. It was this commitment that led us to the theme of the EU2015 Conference: Paths of Discovery. Look for contributions from leading innovators and critics of complacency in the sciences. Openness and critical scientific judgment must be partners.

The conference will explore the ways in which institutionalized perception can obstruct the paths of discovery and delay progress for centuries. Alongside these considerations we will take up the essential tests of extraordinary ideas, the role of the reality check before embracing the attraction of a claimed intellectual revolution.

Join us at EU2015 for a four-day exploration of interdisciplinary science, an event designed to break the bounds of conventionality. Discover the universal role of the electric force, from microcosm to macrocosm, where virtually every new surprise points us in the same direction. And find your own connections within a movement that will shape the future of science.

Point of Origin by Laird Scranton (2015)

Point of Origin: Gobekli Tepe and the Spiritual Matrix for the World's Cosmologies by Laird Scranton is one hell of a deep exploration of our ancient past. Laird takes a path no one else has tread with this material, he makes connections in the symbolism, cosmology, myths, and more of various different cultures, and shows their commonality in the ancient path. The more he explores this, the more connections become relevant. He can demonstrate, pretty clearly, that various cultures around the world all share a common group of symbols and language. These relate to cosmology and science. These were civilizing factors, that over time have become distorted. Laird argues that the Dogon tribe have one of the most pure forms of this teaching. There are also connections to reality, how they see the world and creation, multiple dimensions, the structure of matter, and what else may be out there. The first part of the book covers Laird's previous work. There is some new material covered as well, but it is necessary for anyone who hasn't read the previous books. Then he gets into Gobekli Tepe, and how it may represent a center from where all these different cultures diverge. Or one of them, anyways. This book is very deep in the material it covers, and very unique in so many ways. Laird Scranton stands alone in this work, he has brilliantly deciphered evidence of something very important in our distant past. The meaning of which is profound. A must read.

The Darwin Conspiracy by Roy Davies (2008)

The Darwin Conspiracy; Origins of a Scientific Crime is a eye opening read. First of all, this book has never officially been available on Amazon. You can, however, download a free copy from this site under the free book section, courtesy of the author, Roy Davies. He also has hard copies he is willing to sell at cost if anyone wants one, contact us, and we will get you in touch with him. Now to the book! This is a thorough exploration of where Darwin's ideas really came from. Roy, who had originally created a BBC documentary on Darwin, was told he got the story wrong. He then looked into this assertion, and found that, indeed, there was a good deal of evidence that Darwin stole his work from others, particularly Alfred Wallace. One of the keys to this, comes down to when certain letters arrived to Darwin from Wallace. Roy traces everything available to discover when these letters should have arrived vs when Darwin says they did. The evidence does not support Darwin's case. This is a book that needs to be read. Roy makes a solid case that Wallace was robbed by Darwin and his friends, and that Darwin was not the man most people today think he is. For that matter, he is not the man Roy thought he was when he did the documentary on him.

Soul Traveler by Albert Taylor (1996)

Soul Traveler; A Guide to Out of Body Experiences and the Wonders Beyond is a great read. I have the 1996 version, which is a bit shorter than the 2000 version. This was a really enjoyable read. Albert is very down to earth and matter of fact about his experiences. It's a very easy read, and Albert writes in a very personal way. It goes through his discovery of the out of body state, and his experiences in it. He has much of it written like journal entries that he copied over and he reflects on the meaning of each experience. He also talks of not knowing where to turn when all of this started spontaneously happening to him. A quick read, but well worth it. At the end he gives some tips on having your own out of body experiences. Definitely worth picking up if you are curious about OBE's.
