About This Show

When it comes to unexplained phenomena, it is just that. Unexplained. We try to approach this from as many different ways as possible, and to throw out the assumptions that have driven research for a very long time. These strange experiences people have, no matter what you want to label or catagorize them as, are real in some way. They have been reported throughout history and across cultures. If nothing else, they are a very Human experience. None of the theories we have may even come close to divining what we are actually experiencing, if they did, we would have some answers. We do not know what Reality is, what life or death are, or truly why we are here. We do know that our senses filter much out, and our memories do not work like we think they do. New approaches are needed if we are ever to make any progress at all in understanding what we are interacting with. Some of that comes from understanding ourselves, and some of that comes from having a truly open mind in confronting those things that defy explanation. We need new eyes, perspectives, and better questions. That is the goal of Where Did the Road Go? To go places that have not been tread before, and explore new things from new angles. Jeff Ritzmann Collection / Tribute Part 3 - March 26, 2021

This collection is all from shows from 2017 with Jeff, and includes Keeping your Sanity dealing with the Fringe, and Why Paranormal Groups Fail with Greg Bishop, How Belief can work as a Gateway for the Paranormal along with Wren Collier, and a show on the UFO Encounter at the Ariel School in Ruwa, Zimbabwe back in 1994. That show is also with Joshua Cutchin. There is also a clip from the one time Jeff was on Strange Familiars as part of a collection of UFO encounter stories.

Jeff Ritzmann Collection / Tribute - Part 1: March 4, 2021

Jeff Ritzmann passed away on February 24, 2021. He was a good friend, and brilliant artist, and thinker on the paranormal, who also had a lifetime of experiences. In the next couple weeks I will be posting all his appearances on Where Did the Road Go?. This first compilation is from his first appearance back in June of 2016, including the Patreon segment. Then the show we did that started on Project Archivist, and ended on a live edition of Where Did the Road Go?. Jeff will be remembered fondly.

Jeffrey David Ritzmann, age 53, of Joppa, Maryland passed away on February 24, 2021 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of Joseph and Jennifer (Kidd) Ritzmann, husband of Lisa (Cullum) Ritzmann and father of Dakota (Cody) Ritzmann. Jeff was a talented artist who loved heavy metal music and Star Wars. He enjoyed playing guitar, movie prop collecting and exploring the mysteries of the universe. Jeff attended Le Millet School of Art and Goucher College's program for gifted artists. In the mid-1990's Jeff started the Maryland chapter of the 501st Star Wars Costuming Group. He had a big heart and was dearly loved by his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, wife and son, Jeff is survived by three brothers and sisters in law, John and Coreen (Cullum) Yox, Ned and Denise (Cullum) Colgan, Tony and Kimberly (Cullum) Gwiazdowski, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by grandparents Herman and Edna (Miller) Ritzmann and Earl and Velma (Maxwell) Kidd, and parents-in-law, William L. and Dorothy M. (Jones) Cullum.
