Alison and Timothy have a discussion about some antique photos which purport to show paranormal entities. First they discuss an article which is being shared on social media of a photo which is supposed to be the oldest bigfoot photo and the many reasons why they doubt this photo is what it is claimed to be. In the second part of the show they discuss the Cottingly fairy photographs, ghost photographs, spirit photography, and more.
Episode 37 notes and links:
The cover image is from a photograph in Timothy’s collection. This is not the image we discuss in this episode and is, in fact, a man holding a bear skin. It is an example of the type of old photograph which often gets shared as a “bigfoot photo”.
This is a link to the article on Ancient Origins website which shows the “bigfoot” photo we discuss in this episode: https://www.ancient-origins.net/unexplained-phenomena/bigfoot-cryptozoology-conspiracy-0010179

Kelly and Mark experienced a fearful night of horrid screams and awful smells while camping back in 1985. They had not returned to the site since that night but met us in the forest to tell their story where it happened. Then Timothy goes to a local park to investigate a very recent report of strange activity.

Outro Music by Spazzare with "Duck and Cover"
On this follow-up episode with Timothy Renner, Wren Collier, and Joshua Cutchin, we talk about listener stories involving mysterious lights, flashes, orbs, and various other odd light phenomena. Joshua also relates some of the fae folklore as well.
Outro Music by Johnny Unheimlich, from their CD Tell the Worms to Wait, the song is "The Wraith"
Alison returns to talk with Timothy about historical wild men of a different sort (not bigfoot). Circus sideshow and dime museum “wild men” performers as well as unfortunate souls – itinerants, the insane, or simply people who wandered away from society, looked different, and were labeled “wild men” often out of fear. We talk about Houdini, The Wild Men of Borneo, the Fiji Cannibals, Eko and Iko, and other circus performers. We also discuss the strange and sad case of a York County “wild man” who eventually ended up in the County Alms House with the diagnosis “troubled with ghosts”.
Two forms which note Dan Luckenbaugh’s Form of Disease – first “Troubled with ghosts” – and later, simply “ghosts”.
